THE LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS (Full Movie) (1960) (HD 1080p) | Jonathan Haze, Jackie Joseph, Mel Welles
The Little Shop of Horrors is a 1960 American comedy film directed by Roger Corman. Written by Charles B. Griffith, the film is a farce about an inadequate florist's assistant who cultivates a plant that feeds on human flesh and blood. The film's concept is thought to be based on a 1932 story called "Green Thoughts", by John Collier, about a man-eating plant. The film stars Jonathan Haze, Jackie Joseph, Mel Welles and Dick Miller, all of whom had worked for Corman on previous films. Produced under the title The Passionate People Eater, the film employs an original style of humor, combining black comedy with farce and incorporating Jewish humor and elements of spoof. The Little Shop of Horrors was shot on a budget of $30,000 in two days utilizing sets that had been left standing from A Bucket of Blood.

Momma parrot is teaching her young-uns to say "Polly want a cracker" but little Peter doesn't want a cracker, he wants to be a sailor like dad. Mom tells him what a no-account his dad really was, setting sail for Hawaii ("no, Maw, it was Catalina") right after the kids were born. Peter is unswayed, and takes off. He turns a barrel into a boat, and crews it with an annoyingly talkative duckling, then sets sail on a lake. They get caught in a thunderstorm (the duck loves it). Peter calls for help and momma comes running, but the duck has already saved him. But he still wants to be a sailor.

In this retelling of the Cinderella story, Betty is the title character, a poor young woman forced to be the virtual slave of her two ugly stepsisters. Betty/Cinderella is visited by her fairy godmother, who grants her wish to attend the prince's ball, giving her beautiful clothes, a carriage, and the traditional glass slippers. During the ball, the prince descends the staircase in royal fashion when he stops and notices Betty standing in the entrance, and Cupid uses a hammer to smack him down the stair to her. The two have a wonderful time dancing together, but when midnight strikes, she rushes out of the ball, leaving behind her shoe. The prince searches the land for the woman whose foot fits the slipper, and finds his "poor Cinderella." The two are married, and the ugly stepsisters are left to argue with each other until the end title's doors smack their heads together.

D.O.A. (1950), a film noir drama film directed by Rudolph Matรฉ, is considered a classic of the genre. The frantically paced plot revolves around a doomed man's quest to find out who has poisoned him, and why.
The film begins with what a BBC reviewer called "perhaps one of cinema's most innovative opening sequences."[2] The scene is a long, behind-the-back tracking sequence featuring Frank Bigelow (Edmond O'Brien) walking through the hallway of a police station to report his own murder. Oddly, the police almost seem to have been expecting him and already know who he is.

LOONEY TUNES (Looney Toons): PRIVATE SNAFU - The Goldbrick (1943)(Remastered) (HD 1080p) | Mel Blanc
Private Snafu is the title character of a series of black-and-white American instructional cartoon shorts produced between 1943 and 1945 during World War II. The character was created by director Frank Capra, chairman of the U.S. Army Air Force First Motion Picture Unit, and most were written by Theodor "Dr. Seuss" Geisel, Philip D. Eastman, and Munro Leaf.[1] Although the United States Army gave Walt Disney the first crack at creating the cartoons, Leon Schlesinger of the Warner Bros. animation studio underbid Disney by two-thirds and won the contract. Disney had also demanded exclusive ownership of the character, and merchandising rights. Nel 2007 shows the goal was to help enlisted men with weak literacy skills learn through animated cartoons (and also supplementary comic books). They featured simple language, racy illustrations, mild profanity, and subtle moralizing. Private Snafu did everything wrong, so that his negative example taught basic lessons about secrecy, disease prevention, and proper military protocols.

โบ 3 hilarious, colorized Mutt & Jeff cartoons from the 1920s.
EGYPTIAN DAZE Originally titled "Mummy o' Mine." (1926) Mutt and Jeff go to King Mutt's tomb on their camel, sneak past guards and more hijinks with wrapped mummies!
MIXING IN MEXICO (1925) All the action and mishaps are in the Bull Fighting arena!
SODA JERKS (1925) Mutt and Jeff run a soda fountain. When a bottle of pep tonic is accidentally substituted for syrup, the new sodas cause a crazy commotion.
โบ In 1916, Bud Fisher licensed the production of Mutt and Jeff for animation with pioneers Charles Bowers and Raoul Barrรฉ of the Barrรฉ Studio. Which resulted in 292 animated Mutt and Jeff shorts, making it the longest running theatrical animated short series of the silent era, second to Krazy Kat in terms of years. Series ran from 1916-1923 and 1925-1926. A few shorts of the second run were re-shot in 1930 with the Kromocolor process and reissued with a sound effects and music track.
โบ In the early 1970's, a company named Radio & Television Packagers commissioned Fred Ladd and his colorization company Color Systems Inc to colorize various cartoon shorts that had just fallen into the public domain at the time, mostly silent era cartoons. Among the batch of shorts selected were several silent era Mutt and Jeff cartoons made by Charles Bowers and Raoul Barre. The original music score of these shorts was replaced with an entirely new soundtrack comprised of new music and sound effects. They also renamed the majority of the shorts.

The Candlemaker is a 1957 Cathedral Films animated short film about a candlemaker and his son at Christmas time.
Directors: Joy Batchelor, John Halas
The film is set at Christmas time. The story narrator begins:
"Many years ago, before there were any automobiles and before we had electricity or even gas lighting and when people used horses if they wanted to go out for a ride and oil lamps and candles if they needed a light, there lived in a small country town, yes, a butcher, a baker, and a candlestick-maker. With just over a week to go before christmas, the townspeople were busy indeed and none more so than the candlemaker and his young son, Tom."
The Sheepish Wolf is a 1942 Merrie Melodies cartoon directed by Friz Freleng.
A flock of sheep is being watched by a dopey sheepdog. A pompous wolf has his eye on the flock too.
His first scheme is to disguise himself as a sheep. He is thwarted by the sheepdog, who thinking the wolf is a sheep, sends him into the flock. A black sheep with a "Rochester" voice warns the sheepdog, who tries to discern the wolf. To lure out the wolf, he uses a wolf mating call horn, which has the wolf romancing the sheepdog, until he realises what he is doing.
The wolf flees to a cottage and disguises himself as Red Riding Hood's grandma. The sheepdog sees this, and disguises himself as Red Riding Hood. The sheepdog is distracted by the wolf's flattery, and the wolf sneaks away. After a scuffle and a chase through a hayfield, in which the sheepdog gets taken into a haybaling machine, the sheepdog catches the wolf and proudly boasts to the rest of the flock, who remove their disguises to reveal themselves to all be wolves as well.
The low pitch cartoon public domain version has a random THE END from another cartoon replacing the closing and opening rings.

Betty Boop is putting her nephew, Junior, to bed, but he is not ready to sleep. He jumps on the bed then uses a tube of toothpaste to put stripes on the cat. When Betty catches him, she tells him a fairy tale about a naughty boy. The boy in the story ties a can on a tail of a puppy resembling Pudgy the Puppy, scares a hen and prematurely frees her chick, shakes apples off a tree and cuts it down, throws bricks at a greenhouse, knocks clean laundry into the mud, and shaves the head of the barber. When he teases a lion at a nearby circus by taking its bone out of its cage, the lion escapes its cage and the boy has to be rescued by a magic fairy (Betty Boop with fairy wings, wearing a star-covered black evening dress). The fairy rescues the little boy but makes him promise to undo all his mischief. This is done rather easily by the animators reversing the sequence of scenes from the first part of the story. Junior is not certain that he believes the story, but at last he is ready to go to sleep and undoes his mischief with the same reversal of sequences, and hides under the covers in fear, likely because of the lion.

Betty Boop, annoyed by 'public pests' like backslappers, gum parkers, and mud splashers, imagines what she'd do to them if she were a judge.
Betty Boop is an animated cartoon character created by Max Fleischer, with help from animators including Grim Natwick. She originally appeared in the Talkartoon and Betty Boop film series, which were produced by Fleischer Studios and released by Paramount Pictures. She has also been featured in comic strips and mass merchandising.
A caricature of a Jazz Age flapper, Betty Boop was described in a 1934 court case as: "combin[ing] in appearance the childish with the sophisticatedโa large round baby face with big eyes and a nose like a button, framed in a somewhat careful coiffure, with a very small body of which perhaps the leading characteristic is the most self-confident little bust imaginable". Although she was toned down in the mid-1930s as a result of the Hays Code to appear more demure, Betty Boop became one of the best-known and popular cartoon.

Released April 1, 1926 by Winkler Pictures. Krazy is portrayed as a male cat with a girlfriend. He gets involved with a dance contest, a bear, a skunk and a pawnbroker.
After George Herriman conceived the Krazy Kat comic strip in 1913, the title character began appearing in animated shorts three years later. From 1916 to 1940, Krazy Kat was featured in 231 films. By the time this Krazy Kat cartoon was made, George Herriman's surrealistic comic strip had changed utterly. Krazy had started out as a female cat in love with a mouse, living in a strange part of the southwest that was later infested by coyotes and roadrunners. By now, Krazy was a Felix the Cat knockoff who, despite the bow, is a tomcat.
Director: William Nolan
Animated by Jack King
Writer: George Herriman (comic strip)

The "Censored Eleven" is a group of Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies cartoons that were withheld from syndication by United Artists (UA) in 1968. UA owned the distribution rights to the Associated Artists Productions library at that time, and decided to pull these eleven cartoons from broadcast because the use of ethnic stereotypes in the cartoons were deemed too offensive for contemporary audiences. The ban has been upheld by UA and the successive owners of the pre-August 1948 Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies[1] catalog to this day, which reverted to Warner Bros. in 1996 with Time Warner's purchase of Turner Broadcasting. These shorts have not been officially broadcast on television since 1968 and have only been exhibited once theatrically by Warner Bros in Spring 2010.

Out of the Inkwell was a major animated series of the silent era produced by Max Fleischer from 1918 to 1929. The series was the result of three short experimental films that Max Fleischer independently produced in the period of 1914--1916 to demonstrate his invention, the Rotoscope, which was a device consisting of a film projector and easel used as an aid for achieving realistic movement for animated cartoons. The Rotoscope would project motion picture film through an opening in the easel, covered by a glass pane serving as a drawing surface. The image on the projected film was traced onto paper, advancing the film one frame at a time as each drawing would be made. Fleischer's younger brother Dave Fleischer was working as a clown at Coney Island, and served as the model for what was to become their first famous character that later evolved as "Koko the Clown."
