Eventually, the Ming rebels get the Prince back and move him to the temple where they must confront the evil overlord.

Chu swears to avenge all his masters deaths and prepares by developing his skills to perfection. It's a neat plot that you have to see with very well-choreographed fights by Wilson Tong. He's definitely up there in the fight choreography world. Good training sequences. Lily Lee, an ex-dancer, invests her kung fu moves with grace, elegance, and dexterity, with a hidden reservoir of force.

He tells him, "When the time comes to go, I'll tell you where to go all right." He proves to be adequate for his day-to-day living but cannot fulfill his deep desire for revenge. When Ah Pao is found in possession of the Ghost Faced Killers’ symbol, he is expelled from school. While he leaves in exile, his teacher is forced to shut the school down in fear of his students being killed. After the students leave, the teacher is killed by the Ghost Faced Killer. Still wishing to learn kung fu, he turns to an old Xiangqi (a.k.a. Chinese chess) master Chi Sue Tin (Jack Long), recommended by the cook, for training. The master is an old enemy of the Ghost Faced Killer who reveals his former identity: he was a former kung fu chief who held sway over the area with his fellow fighters, but he was forced to go into hiding after being badly injured in a fight, and also coming under scrutiny by the Ghost Faced Killer. Chi Sue agrees to teach Lee his chess boxing kung fu. Ah Pao finally learns the strategic link between chess and kung fu. He and Chi Sue Tin team up using double horse style, a reference to Xiangqi, and they defeat the Ghost Faced Killer.

Wong Kai Tai started to fight against Bolo until Chi Sien arrived and kicked all the gangsters away from the house, after the fight Wong Kai Tai and Chi Sien decide to become blood brothers. Wong Kai Tai offered a house and some money to Chi Sien to help him and his mother to relocate to the new house. Wong Kai Tai’s mind was to get help from Chi Sien to fight the gangster in his home town, which is terrorized by three brothers of the "Dragon Gang". A day later, Wong leaves town, but he wants Chi Sien to visit him with his mother in a few months. Sadly, Wong’s house was attacked by the gangsters, his brother was severely injured and Wong was killed. Chi Sien arrived for the funeral of Wong Kai Tai, paid respect and promised revenge. Lao Thong and Siew Fa have to kill Chayo, Museudam's brother, in order to escape from the ruffians' camp. They need to flee with their son from the Hmong village as Museudam seeks for revenge. Unfortunately Lao Thong and his family are captured by another ruffians group. Hopefully their leader, Cha Teun, is a former sergeant who knows well Lao Thong. Some ruffians believe they are undercover policemen so Lao Thong has to fight and defeat them to win his freedom. Opium trade has always been a huge traffic in Northern Thailand due to Golden Triangle (Burma, Laos and Thailand). Lao Pho (Lak Apichat) is a Hmong village working with the police border to neutralize local ruffian gangs. Cha Teun's gang is attacked by the Police. Cha Teun believes that Lao Thong is the traitor who warned the police. Then both gangs decide to take revenge over him. They decide to hire another Hmong as only a lion can catch a lion. His wife, Siew Fa, is injured. Na Cha (Jarunee Sooksawad), Lao Pho's sister, helps them. Museudam and Cha Teun try to hire Lao Pho (แมวไม่ฆ่าแมว) but to no avail. So Museudam kills Lao Pho's father and accuses Lao Thong so he suceeds to convince Lao Pho's to chase Lao Thong. Na Cha fights very well but is in fact a girl. Siew Fa finally kills herself to avoid being the one slowing her family down. Lao Thong takes revenge over the ruffians, who disband. The two ruffian groups even kill each other and only Cha Teun succeeds to flee as his own gang is wiped away. A love story starts between Lao Thong and Na Cha. Na Cha succeeds to convince her brother that the culprit is Museudam and not Lao Thong. Museudam kidnaps Lao Thong's son. Lao Thong, Cha Teun, Na Cha and Lao Pho storm the ruffians' campement. Ruffians are defeated but Lao Pho dies while protecting Lao Thong. The Mountain Lion is one of the most famous movies directed by Kom Akadej. It is shot within beautiful Thai northern landscapes. It was one of the few Thai movies dealing about Hmong community. The Mountain Lion - เสือภูเขา (1979) movie remains famous for its Kung Fu scenes. This film was one of the first to mix elaborate stunt work and well choreographed fight scenes.

When a Taoist priest comes and tried to extort money from the family, he and his crony are defeated by the mother and her master, but the priest swears revenge. When he returns years later and attacks Fong, the mother decides to have him enter the Shaolin temple and train to increase his skills. Fong is a natural and quickly advances up the ladder, and getting into mischief along the way. After a few years he decides to leave the temple and seek out the priest for revenge, and locates him hosting a local martial arts tournament in a small city. Seeing that the priest and his henchmen are cheating in the fights, he challenges them and eventually must fight for his life.
