After Yong loses his father, an independence fighter, he is grown up by an enlightened man. He seeks for a Buddhist statue of which his father was robbed losing his life. She is Hyeon-Joo he loves. Also, she is the contact with the Shanghai district of the Korean independence army. Defeating Tanaka, Yong continues to seek for the Buddhist statue with Hyeon-Ju.
