In the first part of this episode, a bear cultivates a cucumber plant giving it great care and attention. One day, some bees surround the plant, and the bear drives them away, thinking they will ruin it. He doesn’t realize that the bees are an essential part of the process that transform the flowers of the plant into fruit. Finally, after a hare explains how pollination works, the bear manages to grow two giant cucumbers. In the second part, two brothers decide to go to summer camp in the mountains. After getting to the train station as fast as they can, they discover they are much too early: in fact, the elder brother doesn’t know how to read the time. Luckily, the stationmaster teaches the youngster how to read a clock, and at last the two brothers manage to board the right train.
