THE IROQUOIS CEMETERY - The Last of the Mohicans ep. 10 - EN

Hawkeye, the two Mohicans, Gamut, Little Knife, and the girls make their way toward the colonies. Their wagon encroaches the territory of the powerful Iroquois tribe, whose chief, Hendrick, is an old friend of Big Snake. After having passed the night as guests in Chief Hendrick’s great village, the wagon sets out again only to reach a crossroad: the longer path which passes through an Indian cemetery, or a road through a sacred terrain on which no one can trespass. John the belligerent farmer decides to hurry the wagon along through the cemetery with his wife and newly-born son. When Big Snake reaches the forest, the Natives have already killed John, and Hendrick is about to redeem this sacrilege with the blood of the baby. Big Snake then steps in and cuts his own arms thus completing the ritual in order to save the baby. This terrible experience will leave its mark. At the end of this episode, our friends head north toward the village of the Delaware bringing Little Knife with them.
