Synopsis:
After the end of the War of Resistance, the anti-war sentiments of all classes, parties, and the broad masses of the people were on the rise. Therefore, under the mediation of the democratic patriot Zhang Lan and others, the Communist Party represented by Mao Zedong (played by Tang Guoqiang) and the Kuomintang represented by Chiang Kai-shek (played by Zhang Guoli) opened the prelude to the Chongqing negotiations.
