【Synopsis】A spring thunder in 1949 awakened the long-sleeping snow-capped mountains, and an earth-shaking change was brewing in the ancient and mysterious land. One day in 1950, Garzi, located in the southwest of Sichuan, welcomed a red team. The People's Liberation Army stationed here and began to build the Sichuan-Tibet railway linking Tibetan areas and the outside world. Li Sujie (played by Su Youpeng), a geotechnical technician who just graduated from college, came with the army to serve the motherland with enthusiasm. By chance, the People's Liberation Army rescued a nobleman who fell into the water. At the suggestion of Li Sujie, the nobleman released two serfs, including a Tibetan girl named Dawa (played by Ju Wenpei).
